Shopper : Is this hard drive compatible with OSX 10.7 / Lion and can it be daisy chained to another one?JUSTIN K : Yes, I am currently using it with the newest Mac operating system, and have it daisy chained with several other hard drives like it. This type of drive is my preferred one, and I haven't had one fail yet.STILLWATER C : Yes and Yes!JUSTIN K : I've used this HD with every Mac OS since Snow Leopard and it has worked just fine. You can also daisy chain them which is nice, but I'd recommend getting some shorter FW800 cables! The one provided is about 2 feet too long! I have about 5 or 6 of these drives and they've never given me a bit of trouble!DEREK J : Yes on both counts.JEFFREY A : Yes it is, and it can. Pretty much any firewire drive is compatible with any machine that has a firewire port.
