The WD My Passport Enterprise 500GB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive is a secure, high-capacity hard drive for the office environment. My Passport Enterprise was designed specifically to work with Windows To Go, which is a feature in Windows 8 that enables users to boot directly from a My Passport Enterprise.

My Passport Enterprise can securely transform any compatible Windows 7 or Windows 8 computer into a workspace without leaving any data behind on the host computer. It also uses BitLocker encryption to ensure all your data is safe and secure. While My Passport Enterprise uses a USB 3.0 port for both power and a 5Gbps max data transfer rate, it is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports. Pre-formatted in NTFS, My Passport Enterprise can be used with Windows 7 or Windows 8 computers right out of the box.
