App doesn’t work on iPad amd too slow for backing up cards on travels.

I would not recommend this WD product. Bought this for backup of memory cards of a wedding and other photography sessions in Europe. The app you need to download to use with didn’t work after the first time used on my iPad Pro. Had to use my iPhone to manage the backing up of files. Transferring took whole nights to backup. I have spend most of the nights figuring out why the system slow. Also need to double check if everything got backed up. I reinstalled the app on my iPad it’s working, however I am not using it anymore for now. Takes too much time.

Very flawed product

At least ours was: 1) Battery would lose all its charge overnight. Even when supposedly off. 2) Would not connect wireless to PCs, ipad-air-2s, Android phones with current OS, MacPro. Was never able to see if in fact it did offload an SD card. 3) Control buttons seldom worked. 4) Never could establish a WD My Cloud account for it. 4)Was never recognized when connected via USB to PCs and Androids. 5) No response from tech support. 6) FAQs and website knowledge base extremely poorly organized. 7) Bulky 8) Would not reset even though its supposed to with the right button cimbination. Recommend choosing something else.
