I have many sizes of softboxes and even a four foot deep octobox (it's a Rotalux and is awesome). But still, you just have to have a beauty dish. I really like the portability of this unit. And I really really like that to use this on multiple lights.
The Westcott Switch series is great for me. They let me move modifiers between studio strobes and LED continuous lights (I have some Aputure and CLAR units). Westcott produces good quality and good value modifiers.

Photo/Video Studio Must Have - Outstanding Flexibility

Absolutely blown away at the quality of light coming from this dish. When you compare directly to the cheaper alternatives, you really see that this is worth every extra penny over the Glow brand and other cheaply made modifiers.

I can't imagine buying any other type of light modifier now that the new Westcott switch modifiers are on the market.  One of the pains of light modifiers in the past were setting them up and breaking them down.  The new switch modifiers are easy to do both and literally take seconds to do.  I'm selling all my current modifiers and purchasing this new Westcott type of modifier.

Very easy to use

Easy to pack. But I do have to say the button on the top broke during shipping. No worry and they shipped me a new one. The light output is amazing and the size is perfect. I have 3 lights. This is the perfect one to have on a monopod while the others are the main and fill light. So quick times myself less than 2 mins setup
