This 80Ws round head speedlight delivers over 550 full-power flashes per charge, ensuring consistent, even light coverage for every shot. Designed for seamless operation, the FJ80-SE M doubles as both a portable flash and a transmitter. It boasts universal compatibility with a range of camera brands, including Canon, Nikon, Sony (in manual mode), Fuji, Panasonic Lumix, and Olympus. Its robust, all-metal hot shoe guarantees a secure connection, enhancing reliability during shoots.The FJ80-SE M's integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver allows it to function as both a flash and transmitter when mounted on-camera. It can control FJ400 and FJ200 strobes, FJ-XR receivers, and off-camera FJ80 speedlights directly from the hot shoe. When used off-camera, it serves as a client speedlight, triggered via an on-camera mounted FJ80, FJ-X3, or FJ-X2 Wireless Triggers. It's also compatible with Canon RT devices, including 600 EX-RT, 430 EX-RT, and EL-1.One of the standout features of the FJ80-SE M is its unrivaled color consistency. It maintains a stable color temperature of 6500K (+/-200K) across its entire 9-stop output range, ensuring color-consistent images throughout your shoot. A gel and ring are included for 5500K environments.The FJ80-SE M also offers reliable wireless communication, even in high-interference locations like events and weddings. It can control up to 16 groups across 31 separate channels from a distance of up to 328' (100m), with the energy range displayed in either whole numbers or fractions.Featuring an intuitive menu and LCD display, the FJ80-SE M supports Manual and TTL Flash Modes, High-Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s, plus Front and Rear Curtain Sync. It also offers Automatic Memory Recall, group and channel assignment, and Group Exposure Compensation. Continuous Capture up to 20 FPS, TTL to Manual Equivalent (as Client), modeling lamp settings, and more can be easily managed. Firmware updates can be installed via the onboard USB-C data port.The FJ80-SE M is equipped with a long-lasting 2500mAh lithium-ion battery, providing a fast recycle time of 0.05 to 1.8 seconds and over 550 full-power flashes per charge. The battery fully recharges in under 3 hours, and the speedlight's self-monitoring heat protection ensures safe operation and longevity. For added flexibility, the FJ80-SE M features an articulating head with 360-degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical pivot ranges. It can be mounted off-camera via the cold shoe or used free-standing with the included shoe stand, which is equipped with a 1/4"-20 female thread for mounting to most light stands. Pair it with a FJ80 Speedlight Insert (#2544) for use with the Rapid Box Switch line of portable softboxes.
