This is an excellent light modifier. I think any portrait photographers or filmmakers could benefit from having this light shaping tool. The only gripe is I wish the lens that it came with wasn't textured when fully focused there is a bit of texture in the image circle.

Optical Spot

A game changer!

This my 4th optical snoot and I think it?s the best one I?ve used. Much easier than others to get focus just right and flag system is very useful. Great investment in getting unique lighting concepts!

4th Times the Charm! Best Optical Snoot To Date!

This is a great product. I had a cheap optical spot before and it was impossible to use. This is a much better product. You likely need to have other lenses to use on this if you want to use wide light patterns, but I shoot Canon so I can use any of my EF lenses that I have,

Great product

I love this modifier.  Lindsay Adler is my favorite portrait photographer and one of the best things about her is her willingness to share her secrets.  This modifier is easy to use and set up and will get your creative juices flowing!

Amazing and unique modifier!

Have not used it that much but had a few issues.  The adjustable metal leaves stick a bit and are made from very thin gauge metal, so I could see them getting damaged easily.  The handles from the leave also get in the way of the gobo holder, depending on how they're positioned.  The lens cap/gels have to be removed in order to focus the lens.  For the money, it would have been nice if there was a little more attention to details and quality.  Additional gobos are pretty pricey as well and only come in sets, so you may get stuck paying for items you will not use.
