The Sony version doesn't seem to make good contact with the Sony A7iv. I've had issues arise and it's been getting progressively worse. I will sometimes get the "this accessory is not supported by the device..." warning. Westcott CS even told me that this specific trigger has a "low compatibility" issue with the a7iv. I can get it to work by removing it and sliding it back in a few times, but that shouldn't be the case. I am 1 month out of warranty too.

I love it is a universal adapter works with both my Canon and Sony.   It is easy to use and has nice screen with USB charging.

I bought this trigger to replace a broken trigger for my ORLIT Rovelight 610RT (which is also the Jinbei HD610) and after a firmware update on my 610RT it works like a charm. I am missing a little bit of group functionality, but it gets done what I need by triggering/controlling the different lights by IDs.
