Very good IEM
I was lucky to have this IEM for $200. Sound is amazing , comparable to $1000 IEM. Very small, comfortable. Must have.

The Westone B50 really deliver a high-quality, clean punch! Either during performances or listening to your favorite tracks!
Very nice sound quality of these earphones. I have a hard to fit ear canal and the amount of adapters really ensure that I get a good tight fit to block out outside noise. I use these within my performances and really appreciate the tonal distinctions. Be it sharp tight highs, or subliminal bass notes - the B50?s really perform. I use them mainly as Bluetooth drivers, but they work well cabled or wireless! I love these - sorry Apple - I?ve moved on!

Just wow, I have both w40 and um3, and sure high end series this really is way up here in quality, both build and sound. Great sound stage and nice balance sound signature

Great IEM, excellent detail with some mid bass bleed
For reference, I was listening to the flares pro and etymotic er3xr before getting these. Overall, these sound very good. The mids are present but not aggressive/fatiguing, the treble extension really opened up after some burn in (iems or ears I know not) and the bass is plenty. There is a very impressive amount of detail and instrument separation is top notch.
The cons are that the bass extension could be better given that it?s marketed as such, the presentation is not very airy and the mids might feel like they lack some attack with metal. The mid bass also bleeds into the spectrum but not too much.
I snagged them at a discount price of 229. At that price, it is an absolute steal. Despite being multi driver, the sound is very coherent.

Highly Coherent and Musical
I took a flyer on these as I had no prior experience with Westone and boy am I glad I did. The Westone sound may not be the most detailed out there at this price point, but they are exceptionally musical. Westone nailed the crossovers used to make these five drivers sound like one. The bass is some of the best I've heard in a balanced armature driver both in extension and slam. Mids are natural and pleasant. I do wish there was a little extra sparkle in the treble but what it has is quite good. The Bluetooth cable is a nice add-on, but it is extremely difficult to connect/disconnect to the point I feel like I'm going to break the IEM.
Compared to my Etymotic ER4XR, the soundstage of the B50 is a vast improvement. Whereas the ER4XR has a linear soundtage left to right, the B50 has much more depth front and back. Obviously it's not on the level of a good open back headphone, but for an IEM its good.
Overall, I think these are tremendous value for the sale price I paid ($250).

Great Bass IEMs with clarity
I like bass, so I got the B series. Not too much more over the W series but great IEMs overall. I enjoy the sound stage it presents.

QC needs to improve..
The sound of the B50 beat my old Shure SE530. The bass is solid tight, mid is rich and high is crystal clear. It's standard Westone quality that I like.
I only gave it a three star because the QC needs to be improved for a set of earphone at this price point. The right earbud's connector is way too loose and when I push hard to try to connect it, it didn't even give me a click noise like the left one did. I don't know how long it will last before it has the connection problem and because of this reason I returned it.

Comfortable Disappointment
TLDR: Bass forward, rolled off highs, disappointing given the MSRP.
The forward bass is unfortunately overly present in some songs and completely flat in other songs.
A good portion of songs, namely pop/EDM sound muffled.
If they are not muffled, the highs are rolled off, which is apparent to the ear and for anyone who enjoys treble without being harsh).
The sound quality of the included Bluetooth 4.0 cable is average/bad (for this price range).
All my listening was done with the silver cable.
These buds shine in the areas of comfort. Both the actual driver housing and the included silver cable are extremely comfortable. Probably my favorite cable I’ve ever used - tangle free and comfortable over the ear.
All of this being said, while these earbuds have a few nice moments in songs and detail, it is otherwise soiled by the base response and rolled off treble.
Given that, just like any other IEM, they have a narrow soundstage, these are not worth buying

Very satisfied with recent purchase
I was excited to open the box a few weeks ago, wondering whether it was a worthy upgrade from my AKG N40.
I started getting in-ear phones as alternative to my over the ear headphones such as Phillips Fidelio X2, HE 400i, ATH M50X, Sennheiser HD600, and Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro.
I was not disappointed. I listen to a variety of music genre in FLAC files which I converted from my collection of CDs and MP3 files.
Even listening from Samsung Note10 with poweramp app is satisfactory. I also use Astell&Kern Jr +FiiO Alpen 2 E17K. Nothing fancy, yet producing beautiful and joyful sound. I have the feeling it will shine more with more advanced DAC & Amplifier.
10 pairs of silicone and foam eartips give ample choice to experiment.
Wired and wireless cables give flexibility.
I definitely recommend this product
in its class, nothing to dislike so far.
The resolution is superb, old songs have become delightful to hear again.

Great sound.
I was originally disappointed with the sound from such an expensive set - the midrange seemed lacking. But after using them for a while, the sound opened up and now I love them. The Bluetooth cable works great, it automatically syncs to my phone when powered on.

Best headphones I have ever owned. I used to have the westones 4R and loved them so when these went on sale I didn't even hesitate. Great headphones for those audiophiles. Sound is is amazing!

Rock lives!
Still evaluating but it’s got a distinctive sound. Hard to describe but it reminds me of when you had really dynamic systems with tons of power. Comparing against w60. Not as transparent as w60 but these things seem to rock. I’m using the chord mojo to power it and will see what it’s like later.
