ALBERT T : 1. Does this come with a stand? 2. Are the replacement bulbs able to be purchased in any store (Home depot, for ex)? 3. I prefer 2 units for lighting a stage and cast. Can someone recommend this type for that purpose. Can't just buy 2 of these… too expensive. Thanks.ANTHONY P : No the stand does not come with it, and know you can not buy replacement bulbs at home depot. I purchased the kit which is the 12x24 as well as the 24x36. I take stills not video and they work great as continues lights. I use the large one as a feather light across the subjects and the other as a back light. They are not cheap but are worth the price.easy light to control and they don't get hot.SHERRY S : No, they don't come with a stand and you can't purchase replacement bulbs at places like Home Depot. I don't think they'd have enough power to light a stage. They're brought, but a stage would need a lot of light to illuminate properly.JAMES H : The set I purchased did not come with stands. I ended up purchasing Savage stands. Very heavy duty and inexpensive. You can not buy the light bulbs at Home Depot or any other place like that. I can only get them locally from camera stores. They are a little pricey and I handle them with kid gloves. I doubt these are going to light up a stage too much. When I use them for portraits or video I have the lights placed a few feet from the subject. Otherwise too much light fall-off and have to shoot to low of a shutter speed.PHONG Q : 1. It does not come with a stand. 2. You won't be able to find replacement at Home Depot, etc. You can order replacement online. Westcott rebrand the EiKo bulbs. You can find them for a lot less than the westcott brand. (Eiko 05622) 3. I don't have a good recommendation for your purpose. I'm not too familiar with stage lightings.

Not as much light as I expected

I like the idea of this light, but found two drawback. 1) The soft box is a real bear to assemble. I am now replacing the modifiers I have, where possible, with Westcott Rapid Boxes. I don't have a studio where I can leave softboxes up, so ease of use is very important to me. 2) Light output isn't what I hoped for. I think it would be fine for static subjects such as tabletop product photos. Not so good for any moving subject. Either way, I found myself shooting at ISO 800 minimum and 1600 - 3200 preferred and at f2.8.

Nice product

I am pleased with this product. However, the kit included only one shallow soft box and one strip light. It would be better if it had included two shallow soft boxes. After all, the kit includes two light bases for the bulbs. If you set up two light stands, wouldn't you like to have two soft boxes?

Great setup for green screen photography

I test ed several lighting systems with a variety of bulbs. This was the only one that would light the screen to "Quality 2" on the Green Screener software. The pictures key great into PhotoKey Pro 8 with very little editing. This is a great set.

spiderlite excites

luv this new spiderlite combo easy to use clean white diffused white light at my fingertips amount of light easily controlled . Westcott design makes control vary easy to use lights are cool can be turned on off with independent switch have already used this system for light box type shots awesome results cant wait to shoot some portraits . I highly recommend this product . thanks Adorama and Westcott

This Product is Great

This is a great peace of hardware that allows you to position and control your light. I use it for portraits and photographing newborns acting as a window light. As the review headline states, "Simply Fantastic." Very easy to set-up.

I WOULD BUY THESE LIGHT KITS AGAIN AND A

THE LIGHT LOOKS VERY NATURAL LIKE WINDOW LIGHT IT'S POWERFUL ENOUGH TO GET GOOD EXPOSURE AT f 5.6 at a 60th of a second.
