I shoot a lot of volume-sports teams. Sometimes I'm in a school and sometimes on a field. Every location brings different challenges and conditions. Regardless, I need to load-in fast and light. and my gear needs to hold up to countless set-up and take-downs. The Westcott Rapid Box Beauty Dish does it all. Great light, especially for sports and portraits, and sets up fast and furious. --And it beats lugging the big salad bowl! I have two. : )

The Westcott Rapid box 24” beauty dish is perfect for in studio and travel jobs. All pre-assembled, very easy to set up and break down, takes seconds. Nice to not have to deal with rods, etc. Also, comes with its own carrying case, very compact. Excellent modifier for beauty and on-figure projects that need a semi-hard source.

Easily opens, solid construction and I own 3 beauty dishes, and this one is hands down the best one I own by far. It's portable, it's way more durable than I expected, easy to setup and take down, and the light quality is beautiful! I highly recommend it.

This box quickly found it's way into my travel gear and hasn't left! Virtually NO hot spots when working close to the subject. Excellent blend of specular and soft light qualities when using as a beauty dish. Good results when used as kick or fill during environmental shoots, particularly against the sun because the semi-hard light matches back-sun-rim very well. HS senior shooters will appreciate it's rugged and yet light weight build for walk around style shooting.

As other's Wescott products I have , it is very well constructed, the white interior give a softer light than silver modifiers, plus , you can use it as Beauty dish removing the front difussion layer. 24 inches is the perfect size to carry on mounted during all wedding. paired with the Evolv 200, it is a killer combo!!
