Solid good quality diffuser
The only reason I deducted one star is that the bowens mount rotates and that makes it more complicated to attach to the light source, because the mount keeps moving. The quality of this diffuser is outstanding. I love it.

Happy Happy
Seem well built, easy to setup and break down. Easy to transport around with included bag. Created wonderful lighting. I only gave it four stars because, I don’t like how the mount spins (Bowen’s mount) when trying to mount to strive & for the cost, they couldn’t just include the beauty dish plate??

Excellent build, gorgeous light
The Westcott 48" Rapid Box Octa XXL is out of this world when it comes to great light. I love the collapsible design and ease of set-up. Nothing used to be more frustrating than dealing with rods fitting into tiny holes.
This modifier is large enough to do big groups, yet small enough to not take up a tremendous amount of room.
The only complaint I have, and it's a tiny one, is for someone unfamiliar with how the Rapid Box works, I had a little trouble figuring out how to collapse it. I kept looking for a button to push, like an umbrella, but finally figured out it's a gentle tug and it slides down the shaft with ease.

So far soo good
This is the first soft box I have ever purchased. I really like the ease of setting up and it appears to be great quality. There is soo much gear out there that it is hard to make choices sometimes. I called Adorama and spoke with someone knowledgeable and was able to purchase my first lighting set-up

Great Soft Box.. NOT 48" though.
Wescott should really state the true size of this Octabox. It is NOT 48" unless they are using a special Wescott measuring tape.

Easy set up and great modifier
I really love how easy these rapid boxes are to set up and how they soften the light. I only wish that Westcott offered a grid for this size of softbox.

Just write baby!
Wow! Light writing with this feather is a breeze! BUT! If you find yourself shooting with the Westcott Rapid Box in breezy conditions...hold on to it! :)

Answer to my dreams
Larger softboxes have always been a problem for me. First, too difficult to assemble. Second, too difficult to store. These impediments are eliminated by the pop up design. Also, the quality of workmanship is extraordinarily good.

Well worth the money
Westcott Rapidbox XXL is well made and versatile. Easy to pack up and take down. I'm so impressed with the product I will be adding more of the Westcott Rapidboxes to my workflow.

Decent softbox
I got this to use as a softbox for my travel lighting kit. They are fast and easy to setup and feel durable. I also like that I can leave the liners in place after breakdown so that they are faster to setup and takedown.

This is best modifier I have, soft and beautiful light very durable and easy to use. I have many Westcott umbrella and soft boxes but, Rapid Box XXL is my favorite highly recommend.

Good value, easy to setup and breakdown
The Wescott 48 Rapidbox Octa XXL is an excellent value. It is a good build quality and is very easy to setup and breakdown. The same goes for the smaller speed light versions. I have more expensive versions of this by other manufacturers that I like very much also, but would rather use those in studio or when I have more time to setup a location. I found this an ideal solution for quick setup shoots. The Bowens mount is very easy to use and was sturdy. I highly recommend for a cost effective larger modifier.
