Fantastic fit, but really poor overall sound quality for this price range. I own over a dozen brands of ear buds and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. Nothing stands out in the sonic signature. And I’m not talking about these being neutral. They’re just rolled off, and very boring sounding. No magical midrange. No killer bass. No airy highs. Just boring. My kids use nine dollar Panasonic earbuds that sound as good as these. Save your money.

These in-ears are compact and durable with lots of options for earpieces. I use them for playing on the church worship team and for touring and have been very pleased so far.

Bought them when they were on sale. They have a nice low end base range for ear buds, but do indicate that they top out @ 16kHz. They seem to be a nice flat range (they sound better than $10 ear buds) The ear gels are nice and block out sound like a good set ear plugs. Downside OEM replacement cables are a bit pricey, upside you can turn these into Bluetooth headphones if you wanted to. For a single driver they do pretty well for general music listening, talk radio, and podcasts. I bought these to use in loud situations: yard work. They fit nicely in the ear and want to stay in if you can keep tension off of the cables. They fit well under over the ear headphones. Half price is a pretty good price for something that I assume is a real product (had all of the genuine made in china foil and the literature looks legit).

Nice balance between warmth and detail. Sound is full. Works especially well with iPhone, iPad since it plays loudly on these.

These UM1s were updated by Westone awhile back. The previous build of UM1s were the first pair of in-ear monitors i've owed. After using these, I couldn't stand going back to generic brand earphones anymore. The sound quality of these are superb for entry level earphones, and the build quality is fantastic. Westone's quality hasn't disappointed, the earphones are still amazing for this price point. Quite neutral sounding at most frequencies. Not too heavy on bass.

I had high hopes when I bought these IEM's, especially due to the praises on Westone in the musician community. I got these on sale for half off and I think it was for a reason. They fit got in the ears but there is not much high end or clarity. They need more treble honestly.
