MARC M : Will this hold and angle an amaran P60c or any 4-5IB led panel? The one that comes with p60c struggles. Thanks.
GHASSEM K : I am looking for an adaptor that can help mount this cold shoe on top of a monopod. Do you carry something like that or would you be able to point me to a source for that?
ThanksMICHAEL P : You would probably better served just getting a lightweight light stand to move your flash off camera. I would be awkward putting your camera on a tripod, remote firing it in order to mount your flash on a monopod and hold the monopod where you want your flash. I guess I am not sure why you would want to put a flash on a monopod.RICHARD P : This unit by itself most likely will not work on top of a monopod. Most monopods I know about have a camera mount screw on the top of the monopod. You would need a lightstand piece or stem to attach to the bottom of the Westcott device. I don't have a specific SKU in mind, I hope to have some time to find a specific solution. ROBERT U : The Westcott adjustable mount works great. Very well made. I got two and love them.JAMES A : This assembly mounts to the top of any standard light stand with a 5/8 inch diameter post. The cold shoe that holds the flash has a 1/4 inch threaded socket in the center which could mount to a monopod with 1/4 inch threads on top. This cold shoe is easily removed from the assembly with two screws.
You would lose the capability of being able to angle the flash and you would be paying for something that you would only be using a small part of.
Maybe Westcott would sell only the cold shoe or you may need to find someone who makes a light stand post with a 1/4 inch socket in the base.

Straightforward flash mount
What you see is what you get with this bracket. It's good, but not great. It's perfectly suitable for light work, but I would recommend something more robust for a working professional. For hobbyists or amateurs, I think it's just what is needed.

Great gadget
This is a great add to my camera and flash accessories. It enabled me to use one of my existing light stands and camera flash as a light weight portable artificial light source instead of having to transport my lighting system. It is also very affordable and well made. I recommend this gadget.

Works perfectly
I needed the 1/4 20 mounting bolt for my flash and was very happy to find, once you removed the flash clamp, there was one. Nothing in the write up indicated it had this. Perfect for light and compact traveling portrait studio

These are the best
If you need to mount a flash unit on a stand these are the best. It is mostly made of metal, not cheap plastic. You can angle them up and down. You can mount an umbrella on them. If you do video, you can also use them to span a slider between two stands. They have multiple uses and you should have a few of them in your camera bag.

Perfect Fit
Seems like I am reviewing alot of replacements! Argh, the dilemmas of being a traveling photog. The sales' people at Adorama are top notch, as when I call while driving with a thousand things going on, I can loosely describe the kinda sorta whatever gizmo I need and they completely understand, find it and take really good care of me. If you need to mount a flash unit on a stand these are the best. It is mostly made of metal, not cheap plastic. You can angle them up and down. You can mount an umbrella on them. If you do video, you can also use them to span a slider between two stands. They have multiple uses and you should have a few of them in your camera bag.
The Westcott Hot Shoe Mount is used to secure flash units to stands through a cold shoe. Tilting mechanism allows for adjustment. Includes umbrella receptacle.
