MICHAEL D : I want to us this for the main overhead light for tabletop. i read that the Bruce Dern model did not produce much light although the reviewer was referencing portrait lighting. Obvisously i can go to very slow shutter speeds. However i also heard that the Bruce Dern unit is subject to hotspots. Do not know if the reviewer was using spider lights or incadescents. So what do you think of this light for tabletop work. Mostly ceramics, glass and other collectibles?DUSTAN S : They are great i have photographed wine bottles and have had no issuesRICK H : These lights are excellent for product. There are no hot spots since it's continuous lighting and what you see prior to pushing the shutter is what you get, unlike strobes. I have and use on occasion TD5 and TD6's for model work. The light quality is excellent although the need to shot with slow shutter speeds in prohibitive. For product it's a no brainer, tripod and static subject should give you excellent results.JOHN R : That's what i have been using it for and I have had no problem, very happy with it.ANTHONY O : To be honest I have not set up my lighting system yet.

Very well built lights, LOVE the bag

wow this kit puts out some light! very easy to setup. very well-built quality construction. i'm impressed with the lights and the bag that it comes with is perfect and holds the boxed lights, the TD6 heads, the lightstands, and other gear like my tripod and other stuff. very cool bag. the only drawback is that i'm not very strong and this is a heavy wheeled bag to travel with. it's at least 75 pounds. so i might just keep this in the studio and not cart it around. lol
