Easy to setup and easy to put away. I have more expensive umbrellas that break easily when setting them up. These pop open and close easily and will last forever.

Excellent quality umbrella. I like the removable black cover and the soft light the umbrella interios produces when I bounce flash units into it! Get one!

I ordered these to use for my CPP exam as they are the required size for the exam. They’re sturdy and work great. Exactly what I needed.

Just like all of my outdoor umbrellas, these took a couple falls on the first day of shooting. They are well built, and as far as I can tell they should stand up to a lot more falls! I have been using them as shoot through umbrellas, but I haven't tested them as bounce umbrellas yet. The black outer cloth is nice to have whether or not you use it for bounce because it helps to keep it clean. The umbrella came in a plastic sheath that makes for good storage.

I've always been a fan of Westcott products. I purchased this particular size (45") because I find it to be universally well suited for use with monoblock lights like my Einsteins as well as my Nikon speedlights. I used this umbrella in concert with another and a beauty dish to light a large group of singers. With the umbrellas and lights positioned at the edge of the frame I was able to light the 75 performers on stage easily. I love the convertible nature of this umbrella making it even more useful to my work.

Produces nice soft light. The build quality is great and it converts easily from bounce to shoot through. We'll worth the price. Definitely recommended.

The material of both the umbrella and the cover feels and looks very nice; pro quality look. This one is a great size for one to three people and it is easy to carry, set up, and break down.

This is a nice umbrella giving you the option to use it either as a shoot-through or as a reflector umbrella. This is a nice feature giving me options for the type of lighting I want for different shoots.

This Westcott umbrella has the correct shape to throw the light forward. Decent design, strong, good construction, great price.

Without any included instructions, it took me a sec to figure out how to get the black cover off...you have to very gently pull off each silver tip on the outside edge and the black cover comes with the tip...then slides off the main staff at the top. Was very disappointed that the diameter is 40", not 45". There's a review on the 60" product that mentions that the measurement is along the arc, not the opened diameter. Had I known, I'd have ordered the 60" ones.

Happy with it so far. Softens light well. The rod that is meant to be put into an umbrella adapter is good quality (seems solid). Don't tighten too much though. Umbrella seems of decent quality for the price. There are cheaper ones available (and this one seems to be made in the same place as those) but this one has been fairly reliable and decently well made so far. For the price, I recommend it.

Good quality umbrellas at a reasonable cost. The black outer umbrella covering comes off easily and installs easily. The quality is great. The protective plastic "bags" are extremely useful during storage.

Bought these for a great price. They do what the more expensive umbrellas do at a much lower price. What's not to like?

I originally bought two of these to use with my studio lights. An unexpected wind gust, (my fault) damaged one of them so I replaced it with an identical umbrella. Why change if you were pleased with what you had?

Westcott umbrellas seem to be sturdier and better built than its competitors, and umbrellas are more economical than softboxes. The shaft is stronger and I like the black coating over the shaft. They are professional looking and a good value for the price. I especially like the provision of the black cover used to reduce light spill. I can remove it, and cover the open end with a black material, using the umbrella as a shoot-through, and convert it into a makeshift softbox. Westcott umbrellas...
