The Diamond 12.3 Floorstanding Speaker features the new Klarity cone material, a blend of Polypropylene and mica, which adds stiffness to reduce flexing and enables a lightweight cone with high rigidity, low coloration, and lightning-fast response. The Klarity cone is fitted with a low-damping surround, achieving both low coloration and expressive dynamics.

The speaker's precision-made magnet system, complete with an aluminum compensation ring, minimizes the effect of variations in inductance as the voice coil travels. This results in an absence of distortion and intermodulation generated by the 'motor system'. The voice coil itself is wound on a high-power epoxy/glass fiber bobbin, a feature rarely found in speakers at this price level. This design choice not only avoids adding eddy currents but also delivers greater power handling than an aluminum bobbin, while being much stiffer than the Kapton type typically associated with this price class.

The Diamond 12.3 Floorstanding Speaker also boasts a 25mm dome made from a woven polyester film with a high-loss coating, delivering open and smoothly extended high frequencies. The magnet system and the front plate have been optimized for wide dispersion and uncompressed behavior. The crossover network uses an acoustic LKR 24dB topology, including air core inductors typically found in high-end speakers, resulting in fast, clean bass with no distortion from the inductor.

Inside the cabinet, Intelligent Spot Bracing connects opposite walls with a specific form of wood brace to achieve optimal reduction of cabinet resonance.
