The DIAMOND 12.4 speaker features the new Klarity cone material, a unique blend of Polypropylene and mica, designed to reduce flexing and provide a lightweight cone with high rigidity. This results in low coloration and a lightning-fast response, setting a new benchmark for budget speakers.

The Klarity cone is complemented by a low-damping surround, achieving a balance between low coloration and expressive dynamics. The precision-made magnet system, complete with an aluminum compensation ring, minimizes distortion and intermodulation, ensuring a clean, clear sound.

The speaker's voice coil, wound on a high-power epoxy/glass fiber bobbin, is a feature rarely seen in speakers at this price point. This design avoids adding eddy currents, provides greater power handling, and is significantly stiffer than the typical Kapton type associated with this price class.

The DIAMOND 12.4 speaker also boasts a 25mm dome made from a woven polyester film with a high-loss coating, delivering open and smoothly extended high frequencies. The magnet system and front plate are optimized for wide dispersion and uncompressed behavior, ensuring a superior sound experience.

The speaker's crossover network employs an acoustic LKR 24dB topology, featuring air core inductors typically found in high-end speakers. This results in fast, clean bass with no distortion from the inductor.

Inside the cabinet, Intelligent Spot Bracing connects opposite walls with a specific form of wood brace, precisely modeled by computer simulation to optimally reduce cabinet resonance. This advanced bracing system outperforms the standard 'figure of eight' brace, preventing the transfer of resonance from one wall to another.
