Definite upgrade to the factory foot.

I really like the Sony 200-600 lens, but its one weak point is the tripod foot - it doesn't secure tightly to the rotating collar on the lens. Even when I cranked down the locking knob, it still had play in it. And, when you're at 600mm, the play was enough to sweep across an annoying span of the image. This foot fixes that by securing firmly, with virtually no play, to the lens. Not that I care, but it looks good too.

I think the best Sony 200-600 Arca-plate out there!

This is the best Arca lens plate for the Sony 200-600 made! The cost is the lowest and the quality just like the high end company's and I used Loctite to make both screws more secure. I really like that it really can't slide off it come off without the main 1/4 screw removed, not like the others like the Sony that could come off or loose! If you use a Arca Swiss head clamp this is PERFECT, if you have a BH-55 QR lever not as tight but very very hard to slide so no problems there! GET THIS NOW!

It's the best QR foot for the Sony 200-600 FE LENS

Wimberley AP-620 Quick Release Replacement Foot for Sony 200-600, foot is the second design correction as the first batch Wimberley did not know that Sony changed the QR foot from the 100-400 to the 200-600 and the first batch did not fit because of that reason. On the second batch that I just received today it fits right and very secure. I was disappointed that Wimberley did not grove out so that it slides on like the Sony foot does but to cut cost just uses the 1/4 20 screw to secure it flush to the bottom and 1 small side screw to keep pressure on the Sony QR and it's very secure. I would suggest using Loctite Blue as RED needs heat. But using the blue will add that extra bit of security! I can't say if you have a Sony 200-600 GET THIS if you have an Arca Swiss head! Don't get the RRS or Kirk this is longer and cost much less! Last it does have the 2 small screws to help prevent it from sliding off the Arca Swiss head, makes carrying the Sony 200-600 lens GREAT BALLANCE!
