I bought this for a 10/22 takedown, but it would work fine on a centerfire carbine where you want a lightweight small format scope. Glass is clear and there is good eye relief. It is more than sufficient for anything between 50 and 300 meters.

I researched about every scope out there and after much deliberation I came to the decision that this scope would be The perfect optics for my new Areo 10mm carbine. It is a relatively short range firearm with a 75yd range and possibly in near perfect condition 100yds. So a low power scope with a large field of view was my idea of the Perfect setup. But it had to be built pretty tough and withstand moderate recoil from the Areo 10mm carbine. The gun is designed to be lightweight and agile so I wanted to keep that same theme with my optics. Which is another reason I choose the Weaver 1-3 power because it is one of the lightest scopes out there. I wanted crisp clean glass and I knew that this would be the case because I own two of the higher power Weaver V series scopes. Then it had to have very good reviews from other owners,this scope had that covered as well. I searched the internet for the best deal on price and customer service and Adorama was the one that got my vote and I am very happy with my choices. I would by the scope again and it probably want be very long until I do buy another one for another project that I have in the works. And I will be getting it from Adorama. Isn't it great to be in America where you have a business in the Middle of New York City that a country boy here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of N.C.a hillbilly if you will can work together for a command goal and both end up excited about what just took place.... LOL!!!!!!
