This system integrates the professional WaveCAST Wi-Fi audio server technology into a Williams Sound FM assistive listening system, offering users the flexibility to listen via an FM receiver or their own smartphone using the WaveCAST Listening App.
Built on a professional digital audio (DSP) platform, this system delivers exceptional audio quality, making it ideal for use in auditoriums, lecture halls, and other public spaces. The optional Dante interface, based on the Audinate UXT Ultimo chipset, provides full audio networking solutions, supporting both AES67 and SMPTE 2110. This allows for greater interoperability with other audio equipment, enhancing the system's versatility.
The FM 558 Pro D Plus Large Area Dual FM and Wi-Fi Assistive Listening System includes a FM T55 D transmitter with Dante input, four PPA R38N receivers, and a variety of cables for easy setup. The PPA R38N receivers feature a high-resolution OLED screen, digital tuning, and a battery-saving sleep mode. They are compatible with a range of Williams Sound transmitters for added convenience.
The system also includes the EAR 022 Surround Earphone, designed for excellent sound quality and compatibility with all Williams Sound receivers and Pocketalkers. The NKL 001 Neckloop magnetically couples the audio output from a Williams Sound unit into a hearing aid equipped with a T-Coil, enhancing the listening experience for those with hearing impairments.
The system is completed with the BAT KT6 Two-Bay Chargers and Rechargeable Batteries, the IDP 008 ADA Wall Plaque to alert patrons to the availability of a hearing assistance system, and the RPK 005 Rack Panel Kit for easy mounting of the transmitter or modulator.
