The receiver, a body-pack type unit, features an IR detector lens positioned behind the face of the unit. It comes with a lanyard for hands-free operation and a rotary-type volume control for easy adjustments. The receiver operates for 60 hours with two AA alkaline batteries and for 30 hours per charge with NiMH AA batteries, ensuring long-lasting performance. Charging is made easy with charger contacts in the case, allowing for battery recharging without removal.
The receiver is housed in an impact-resistant plastic case with a hinged battery door that remains attached to the unit.
