Experience real-time audio streaming over Wi-Fi with the WaveCAST Wi-Fi assistive listening system. It includes 2 user-friendly WAV Pro Wi-Fi Receivers, featuring the industry's largest 6.8" full HD+ display, Bluetooth compatibility, and up to 40 hours of continuous streaming under typical use. This system meets ADA hearing accessibility requirements for venues with seating capacities of up to 50.
The WAV Pro Wi-Fi Receiver seamlessly connects to any Williams AV WaveCAST-enabled product through the venue's existing Wi-Fi network. It is the only newly designed Wi-Fi device dedicated exclusively to assistive listening. Guests can also easily access WaveCAST audio via their personal smartphone using the WaveCAST app.
Note: An existing Wi-Fi network is required.
- WaveCAST C Wi-Fi Audio System -
WaveCAST C is a real-time audio over Wi-Fi platform designed for pro-audio applications where high-quality sound is required. Its integration with third-party room systems allows AV professionals to control and monitor the WaveCAST C using Telnet commands via Ethernet. Audio is streamed to an app on personal devices or a Wi-Fi receiver, which can be used for assistive listening and other purposes.

The audio is streamed to an app on personal devices or a Wi-Fi receiver, which can be used for assistive listening and other purposes. WaveCAST C integrates with third-party room systems allowing AV professionals to control with Telnet commands via Ethernet.
It is built on a hardware-based DSP audio system architecture, allowing system optimization to achieve the highest quality experience for the particular audio stream being delivered. Hearing assistance can be optimized for hearing loss, music can be optimized for high-fidelity playback, and voice can be set for maximum speech intelligibility. Custom pre-sets can also be established for specific performance applications.
Professional audio inputs on the WaveCAST C include 1/4" XLR connectors, phantom power, and a line level output jack. In addition to multi-stage gain control inputs, the DSP features include AGC, limiters, high and low pass filter, and adjustable range compressor control. The 16-bit DAC provides a 48Khz sample rate for a smooth digital stream and minimizes digital harshness. WaveCAST C supports both unicast and multicast network configurations. Up to four WaveCAST C systems can be connected to the same Wi-Fi network to provide multiple listening channels - supporting 45 users in unicast mode or 1500+ users in multicast mode.
The WaveCAST C can have most settings changed via the front panel interface or the hosted web interface. A remote programming guide is available upon request.
The new WaveCAST app provides an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface and is available on iOS or Android. Listeners easily select channel and volume level once their personal device is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Note: Firmware is model specific. Firmware updates are currently unable to be completed on Mac computers.
- WAV Pro Wi-Fi Receivers -
The Williams Sound WF R2-03 WAV Pro Wi-Fi Receiver is a purpose-built assistive listening device designed for use with any Williams AV WaveCAST-enabled transmitter. It features a large 6.8" full HD+ touchscreen that offers a familiar, smartphone-style interface, allowing users to easily navigate and select from up to 64 audio channels. Ideal for theaters, lecture halls, and houses of worship, it ensures ADA compliance and supports hearing aid users with optional neck loop compatibility.
With built-in Bluetooth, users can connect their own headphones, hearing aids, or neck loops. The receiver provides up to 40 hours of continuous use on a full charge, powered by a 6000mAh lithium polymer battery. A built-in tutorial simplifies setup, and venues can customize the interface with logos and channel names. The WF R2-03 includes a protective case, screen protector, USB charging cable, AC power adapter, and quick start guide, making it a complete and user-friendly solution.
- Stereo Neckloop -
Use with hearing aids or cochlear implants equipped with a T-coil switch. 3.5 mm plug, mono, 8 - 16 Ohm. Moderate to severe hearing loss. This neck loop features stereo plug with adapter that makes it compatible with the WAV Pro Wi-Fi Receiver.
Safety Breakaway Feature
Integrated safety breakaway device. In the event the neck loop cord becomes entangled with a object in motion, the breakaway device will disconnect the neck loop from the user.
