So hard to find good stuff made in the USA. This is way better than any of the other made-in-china versions out there. The shockmount itself is simply constructed and fits most shotgun microphones of standard size. Plastic is very rugged and will definitely last. Although I haven't dropped it on its face yet, so I can't guarantee it would withstand that kind of force. The WindTech SM-4CM Shockmount for 0.75-1.25" Shotgun Microphones/Cylindrical Style Condenser uses high quality Rubber "O" Rings for the Microphone suspension. The angle is adjustable and can be locked into the desired position using the locking knob. It fits most cylindrical style Condenser or short Shotgun microphones from 19.05mm (.75") to 31.75mm (1.25"). Standard Photo / Video Hot Shoe adapter is included.
