Worked well right out of the box. Instruction clear, good resolution, slide mechanism could work more smoothly.

The Wolverine F2D scans only one slide at a time and the slides must be manually fed through the slide attachment and manually centered before capturing the image. Some slides are thicker than others so forcing them through is sometimes difficult. A nice feature is the capability to adjust the exposure level and RGB levels prior to capturing the image however the tiny screen doesn't correctly display either the brightness or the correct color, so I recommend getting the video cable (3.5mm to RCA) so you can view the slides on a television. And save the exposure and color correcting work for later on a computer. Movie film was a huge disappointment for me. Although the film slips through the attachment easily, it is very difficult to center the tiny frame in the display and the image even smaller than the slide image. So you don't really have any idea what you're capturing. Using an SD memory card for capturing images is a great idea. That eliminates all of the problems with installing scanner drivers on your PC. One final note: It would be nice if I could set the date and time on the device so it doesn't date all of my images with two year old date stamps. Actually I'd prefer to enter the dates I see stamped on the slides, and have that date stamp applied to the images I capture.

Overall, it is an excellent product especially for the price. Diretions were easy to understand, and I loaded over 140 slides in an hour. I would definitely recommend this product!!
