However, it only does one slide at a time. It took a bit to learn how to use it. As for photography, I am considered a semi-pro because I worked as a photographer/reporter in nursing school. My husband has a lot of underwater photography we started converting but slacked off for now. I gave it 4 stars because it only does one slide at a time.

Easy to use except loading the feed tray does slow things down a bit. The flip and mirror abilities are real nice.

Great product that is compact and easy to use. Resolution is excellent even on 30-40 year old slides. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars for me is the screen size.

Not much to object to. USB connection should be other than front panel. USB cord is in the way.

I, like so many other people have thousands of photos in slide and film negative form, years old that I have alway intended to digitise but have never found the time. This low priced device makes it easy to digitise a lot of photos in relatively quickly. I have an old Nikon Coolscan which I have used in the past but it was so time-consuming that I only managed to scratch the surface of my huge amount of old photos before I had to give up. Of course the Wolverine Snap 20 is no match for the Coolscan when it comes to comparing the quality of the results in any sense but it does produce acceptable files that are of sufficient quatity for distribution and multiple storage for safe keeping. My motivation for buying one was to actually have all my photos digitised in a short time in case they were lost to some disaster. I had no high expectations of its performance and have been surprised at the standard of results I have had from slides and colour negatives. However the files from the prints digitised on the Wolverine are not paricuarly good and I get much better results from the scanner of my Canon MP970 printer which of course takes considerably longer to scan. I summary I would recommend this if you want to digitise slides and film negatives quickly and easily to a reasonable standard. It is not a high end scanner/digitiser by any means but produces files that are acceptable for general viewing and for reference purposes with some opportunity for basic editing. For the price it represents good value and apart from prints is going to satisfy most people's needs for sharing digital images providing your technical expectations are not too high. If you want a digitiser/scanner to produce very large files in raw or tif for intimate editing then you need to look at much higher priced and technically complex equipment.
