The WIOS system comes with two wireless speakers for a rich stereo sound, however this system is expandable allowing up to six more to be connected so you can fill even a large backyard with music. Along with the two speakers, the system also comes with a wireless audio transmitter base, a remote control and three AC adapters. With Bluetooth compatible players you can stream audio from your Bluetooth device to the transmitter for a true wireless connectivity. For devices without Bluetooth functionality WIOS can still provide high quality sound as you can plug in any device such as a smartphone, MP3 device, or even a TV into the wireless transmitter base in order to deliver pure sound up to 200 feet away.

It utilizes a long-range and expandable 5.8GHz wireless frequency to transmit an audio signal from the transmitter to the speakers. - WIOS 5.8GHz Audio Transmitter -
5.8GHz Audio Transmitter can send any audio signal wirelessly up to 200 feet away. With its advanced 5.8GHz frequency, you get a digital signal with less interference and broadest coverage. The Transmitter receives its audio signal either from the 3.5mm audio jack or by pairing a Bluetooth audio device.
