It achieves this with the help of transformer balancing and isolation, which can be applied to one or both of the outputs.

The Whirlwind LBS 1x2 Line Balancer and Splitter is perfect for situations where you need to connect unbalanced output equipment to devices with balanced inputs. Its superior noise rejection capabilities ensure a clear, uninterrupted audio signal.

One of the standout features of this line balancer and splitter is its transformer isolation. This feature is designed to eliminate any unwanted hum or buzz that can be caused by power line and grounding issues, ensuring a clean, clear audio output.

The device offers two modes for added flexibility. In ISO mode, the signal is passed directly through to one output and transformer isolated to the second output. In SPLIT mode, the signal is transformer isolated to both outputs, resulting in a 6dB drop in level at each output.
