This high-quality audio device is designed to balance and isolate a single line level signal, or distribute a line level signal to two separate destinations. It achieves this with the help of transformer balancing and isolation, which can be applied to one or both of the outputs. The Whirlwind LBS 1x2 Line Balancer and Splitter is perfect for situations where you need to connect unbalanced output equipment to devices with balanced inputs. Its superior noise rejection capabilities ensure a clear, uninterrupted audio signal. One of the standout features of this line balancer and splitter is its transformer isolation. This feature is designed to eliminate any unwanted hum or buzz that can be caused by power line and grounding issues, ensuring a clean, clear audio output. The device offers two modes for added flexibility. In ISO mode, the signal is passed directly through to one output and transformer isolated to the second output. In SPLIT mode, the signal is transformer isolated to both outputs, resulting in a 6dB drop in level at each output. To further enhance its functionality, the Whirlwind LBS 1x2 Line Balancer and Splitter is equipped with a ground lift switch for each output. For the input signal, both a female XLR and a 1/4" TRS jack are provided. Male XLR connectors are used for the output signals. With a frequency response range of 20Hz - 20kHz and 600 Ohms input impedance, the Whirlwind LBS 1x2 Line Balancer and Splitter is a versatile and reliable addition to any audio setup.
