We used these HDMI Cables to connect our HD Cable Box and DVD player to our bedroom HD LGTV. Unfortunately, these cables lack CEC (Consumer Electronics Control, aka Customer Electronics Control) function which would give a universal remote the ability to control all the HDMI connected devices. Without CEC, one cannot control the volume of the HDTV via the cable box remote. What a bummer! Additionally, had a separate problem with one of the cables. Each time the TV's power was turned own it would lose the cable signal after startup. Reversing the connection order of the cables, so the cable previously used to connect the DVD player to the TV now connects the Cable Box to the TV and vice versa, was effective rectifiying the problem.
