Every time my windows updates I lose the drivers and connect to the printer. So far it has not been as easy as reinstalling printers. It takes a special set of drivers you need to go find. then it takes 2-3 tries to actually get them to install correctly. If I could just remove and reinstall the printer in a few minutes I wouldn't care, but having to go find the right drivers every time has been an exercise in frustration.

Never have been able to get this printer to sync up with my second computer. I have followed the directions which are vague and not understandable. The help line was not helpful either.

In over 30 years and many printers this is the worst I've ever owned. Extremely hard to set paper type and print quality. MIGHT be ok if all you ever do is print on standard paper. I was never able to get the same results twice on different types of paper. Could not change settings on computer had to use confusing controls on the printer itself. I so much wanted to like this thing. Returned for refund.

Prints great, easy to use but very short lifespan. After the starter cartridges finished, it would not recognize Xerox OEM Cartridges purchased from Staples and I'd discard the printer as it was out of warranty

I was looking for a printer that was clearly quality built and capable of lasting four times longer than warranty period and customer support. I think I found it in this printer. After delivery, I was unable to setup the WiFi portion on the printer. Contacted Xerox Support. Support personnel, by phone, Franklyn, was able to assist me thru the setup procedure . This took several tries before mission accomplished. Needlessly to say the person was VERY patient with me. This printer was ordered directly from Xerox. Shipping was 2 days! It is being used in the home environment. Strong build quality. It has a lot of features for the office-professional environment as well for the home user like me. The print quality both in B&W and Color is sharp. The print speed is as advertised. I purchased the printer December 2021 and so far impressed with it's performance and support. Nothing to complain about. I would recommend this printer for the office or home environment.

We have had this printer for about 4 years now and it has been the best printer we have owned. No issues and the print quality is as good today as new out of the box.

The printer itself was fine. Average print quality, average speed. Recently they recommended a software upgrade for an undisclosed security vulnerability. I'm in IT, I do these all the time. Followed the instructions to the letter and it bricked the printer. Called the support line and they said I could talk to them for $25 but no guarantees. I asked to speak to a manager and after a 20 min hold the agent came back and said the manager wouldn't speak with me but he recommended a billable service call. I have never had a company botch a firmware update that bricks the device and then expect the customer to pay to fix it. Unacceptable.

This printer is compact and easy to use. It prints well both in color and black and white. I like that it's quiet and quick too.

I have two Xerox products at home - one has both a scanner and a printer and the other has just a printer (Phaser 6510- color printer). The Phaser 6510 is very easy to use, the printing quality is at the best, the speed of printing is excellent. The feature that I really like (that was missing the first product I mentioned) is WiFi printing that is available from the phone. Printing on both sides is also available.

If you are doing a small print project this is the printer for you. If you print larger projects this printer has some downsides. Printing large quantities this printer takes quite some time and jams after so many prints, the printer does not hold a lot of paper, and when printing envelopes it bends the envelope. Overall for the printing I do I would not recommend this printer.

This is my home printer - I love it since it is ready to print when I am! My old printer would need to be unclogged before it would print and would use lots of ink in the process. My Phaser is excellent at waiting and being ready to take care of my printing needs.

I?ve only had this printer for a few weeks now, but so far so good. The print quality is excellent and it is pretty fast. I love the duplex feature. I have a Mac and had no problem setting it up.

As a software developer for years I'm always delighted when the software installs without incident, and in this case I've defined the printer with direct connections, WiFi, and via a network connection. All work properly. I'm also delighted in that I haven't had to adjust page margins for anything I print repeatedly which has been an issue with other printers. The colors are crystal clear, the printer has taken various forms I use, in various weight papers, and all work flawlessly. I haven't had to change any ink cartridges yet, but the prices I see on replacements are also much better than other products. I'm a happy camper !

I have had several home printers, all promising great things and delivering the minimum. Cartridges were extremely expensive, etc. However that all changed when I purchased the Xerox Phaser 6510. I cannot say enough, the print quality is excellent, the cost is great, the speed and pixel rates are phenominal. And most importantly the print cartridges and really inexpensive compared to that of a HP Laserjet. Not only are they inexpensive the yield is mind-blowing. This is the first printer that I have purchased wherein the factory installed printer cartridges lasted more than a week. I have not changed it since purchase over a month ago, and I print every day. Sometimes as many as 60-pages at at time.

The printer itself is great -- fast and excellent print quality. The printer driver, however, doesn't do the printer justice IMHO. My main objection is the terrible error handling. Too often the user will get an error message on their machine like "Problem with paper". So I go to the printer: no error message on the printer panel, no indication of the problem. I go to the printer admin page -- no error message at all there either. So, the user can't print their job and there's no comprehensible reason why not. Now what? (Reboot the printer, reboot the client machine, clean out the printer queue, resubmit the same job (without any paper or configuration changes) -- now it works. What was wrong? We'll never know.) Another problem is error messages like "Error 123-456", that's all, including on the printer admin page. Why do I have to Google for that? I understand that firmware space on the printer itself is limited. But when you log on to the printer admin page, you're logging onto a web page -- THAT could have a hyperlink to a page on the Xerox website explaining what the error is and how to address it. With time I'm learning the quirks of this printer driver and things are going more smoothly.

After using other printers, I was delighted when I found the Phaser 6510DN. It satisfied all of my printing needs. In the past have had buy a second printer in order to get high quality graphics and photos. The Xerox Phaser 6510DN with its enhanced high resolution does this beautifully. In addition, it is fast and is a solid office work horse.

Almost a year ago I tried to get support for a warranty issue, and today 360 days later I am trying again. My machine was registered with Xerox several times and every time I call for support they claim it is out of warranty or they have no records to support my warranty claim. If you buy a printer from this company expect to receive very bad or no support.

I bought this copier over a year ago and had to have a technician come out as it will not print on anything but regular paper. I bought it so I could print labels but the ink will not stick to the labels. I change it to label setting and it is even worse. They finally replaced the printer and it is not much better. This printer eats toner. I had to change one in less then a week. Very disappointed don't waste your money.

During the 70?s, I carried a tool-bag in the Chicago Loop for Xerox. When it comes to printing with toner, there is no better source for output quality and reliability. Love my printer. Semi-retired now, engaged in volunteer work and making fine-art prints, for myself and others.

The print quality and features like two sided printing make this a great printer. The printer broke within first 2 hours of use! However, Xerox had on site (in my case, my home) repair person there to fix it within two days. Technician thought the suspect part was one he never seen fail in a new printer so he did not have a replacement on truck. Part was ordered and arrived pretty quick. Same technician who did first call was assigned to install new part. I was really pleased I didn't have to deal with someone from the beginning again. Ran into strange error message when trying to use as wi-fi network printer. Between a bit too technical troubleshooting suggestions on Xerox website and some help in YouTube videos, I was able to fix so I dinged the "Ease of use" rating.

We bought this printer a while ago. It's treated us really good. Haven't had any problems so far. The print quality is great for business use. The toner cartridges last a long time, and we haven't had any problems with them. I will buy another when the need arises.

Hassle free printer. Good print quality and easy to handle. I have seen some of the printer and end up in paper jam scenarios. Phase 6510 is great printer. This is the kind of printer I would like to use for ever. In some of the continents, photo copies called XEROX copies. No mistake in using the term after using such products from Xerox. Thanks.

I've owned three different Phaser printers over the years. The 6510 has been doing a very nice job for me. The print outs are good, no issues with paper handling, etc., and the ink lasts a reasonably long time. I especially like that ink cartridges are easily from the front of the printer. Would recommend.

I wouldnt recommend this printer if you intend to use its built in wifi. WE have multiple PC in the house trying to access this printer. Once you get it working with the right driver it works for a few weeks then looses its connection and you have to reset it back up again on every PC.

Have used just about every printer brand. Xerox is #1 in my opinion. In fact, Xerox is better than #2 brand on my list, by an easy 50%. The remaining printer brands I have used, do not compare to Xerox. The cost to use my 6510 is reasonable (not expensive) considering the print quality. Oh an install APP comes with it, as such installing my 6510 was effort less - 30 seconds maybe. And we all know there is a certain printer brand on the market that is a huge huge pain to install and small pain to keep running. If you buy the 6510, do NOT use off brand ink. Use only Xerox. Xerox ink will actually cost less in the long run, and will NOT plug up the printer. I know that for a fact.
