Just got mine today and tested it out on a variety of mics. There's a weird, high pitched frequency on my studio pencil mics that cuts in and out as you touch the mic and/or transmitter. It feels similar to the behavior of a grounding issue. I got this result with a Sterling SL230, Lauten LA120, and Sennheiser e614. However, when testing with a Rode NTG-3 (which is RF biased), it sounded great. Because ultimately I bought this as a budget option for wireless boom operation, and because my boom mics are RF biased, I'm not concerned about it, but I wouldn't recommend this system for anyone working with basic condenser mics.
