It's been more than 2 years waiting to have it. I'm soo happy and pleased. Nobody with 8 ohm speakers will ever regret having this amp. BUT, you should know: it's not considered a high current amp. Not for Magnepan speakers for example. There is enough power delivery for high sensitivity speakers but 2 ohm speakers will not play well. It's just not meant for that type of speakers. Like other brands like Naim or Hegel. I have it paired with Yamaha CD-S3000 and B&W 805 D3, it's heavens! it's gods music. Don't judge the pictures setup, I hooked up as soon as I got it... ;)

Excellent sound clarity, separation, depth, and a wide life-like soundstage. Presentation is natural with no coloration. What was recorded is what you get. Deep bass, accurate mids, and sparkling highs. I own/owned a variety of vintage gear from the 70's and early 80's. Top of the line stuff from Pioneer, Sansui, NAD, Hafler, Marantz, and modern gear from Denon, and Yamaha. The Yamaha A-S3200 outplays them all. I'm not saying the other gear is not great. I'm saying the A-S3200 is better. This purchase EXCEEDED my expectations, and I am 100% satisfied!

After a meticulous design process and a commitment to sonic excellence, Adorama proudly offers the Yamaha A-S3200 2-Channel Integrated Amplifier, a true embodiment of high-fidelity audio and a testament to Yamaha's dedication to innovation and musicality. This flagship integrated amplifier is engineered to realize the artist's vision, setting a new standard in audio performance.
The A-S3200 is a powerful, high-quality instrument that delivers music with exceptional clarity, separation, depth, and a wide, life-like soundstage. It presents audio with natural fidelity, free from coloration, ensuring that listeners experience music as it was originally recorded. With its deep bass, accurate mids, and sparkling highs, the A-S3200 surpasses the performance of revered vintage gear and modern counterparts alike, offering a listening experience that exceeds expectations.
At the heart of the A-S3200's pure musicality is a large toroidal transformer, expertly designed to minimize flux leakage and energy loss. This results in a direct and efficient energy transfer, allowing listeners to feel the full emotional impact of the music. The use of high-quality capacitors, known for their musical performance, further enhances the authentic sound delivery.
The amplifier's dedicated phono amp, featuring a discretely configured MC head amp and equalizer amp, produces a rich and pronounced musicality when playing vinyl records. Whether using MC or MM phono cartridges, the A-S3200 ensures a vinyl listening experience that is both immersive and true to the original recording.
Yamaha's low impedance design concept is integral to the A-S3200, minimizing energy loss and preserving the integrity of the audio signal. This results in an open, natural soundstage that bridges the gap between the listener and the artist, making for an active and engaging musical experience.
Connectivity is paramount in the A-S3200, with brass screws and oxygen-free copper terminals for block capacitors ensuring superior connections. The four large 22,000 microF capacitors provide ample headroom to produce an expansive soundstage.
The fully balanced circuitry from input to speaker offers numerous listening benefits, including an impressively low signal-to-noise ratio that perfects the silence between musical passages. This design also enhances channel separation, creating a soundstage that makes the system virtually disappear, placing the listener in the room with the artist.
Yamaha's original speaker terminals, crafted from pure brass, ensure a secure and high-quality connection, while the Mechanical Ground Concept maximizes rigidity and reduces unwanted vibration. The result is a deep, rhythmic, and melodious bass that resonates with the story of the music.
The A-S3200's design is as meticulous as its sound. Elegant switches and knobs provide a tactile connection between the listener and the engineer's craft. The large level meters, with their softly illuminated LEDs, visually present the dynamics of the music, while the precision-fit glass window on the front panel adds to the amplifier's luxurious aesthetic.
In summary, the Yamaha A-S3200 2-Channel Integrated Amplifier is a durable, advanced, and reliable choice for audiophiles seeking an unparalleled listening experience. Its exceptional build and audio quality make it a standout choice for those who value the true expression of music.
