I am a beginner, like this guitar don't need amplifier because this is Acoustic and electric both, easy to tune “tuner is inbuilt”, sound is good, but few thing like to tell you though I am 5.11 tall still feel guitar body is big, side is also thick as compare to other models, may not very easy to hold for beginner and short peoples .. one suggestion just see physical first and then buy.

The guitar has amazing sound, and the quality of the finish is outstanding. It is easy to tune-up - the internal tune-up works great, and the package comes with battery too. Can't ask for more for beginner's guitar.

The strings are set up fine, I can just tune and play out of the box. The tuner and the pick up work all good. It's a decent guitar for this price.

Using it to do some recording ....I have an Ovation Acoustice Legend that costs a grand 12 years ago ...but I actually love this guitar to pieces !!! It's pretty amazing for the price ....you could spend a LOT more and do no better. One thing that helped ...is ...if you buy it ...get a guitar tech to set it up right ...that's important ...strings came "factory high" and the tech lowered them quite a bit ..and it plays extremely well.

My son loves it! Plays it everyday and has a really good quality sound. He has wanted an acoustic to plug in and now he does for a really good price. I will shop adorama again.

Plays like a much more expensive guitar. Excellent for beginners to semi-professional.

Well made and sound nice. The string is with high quality and the size is just right for me. If you want a smaller one you probably should consider FSX700SC, same price.

Overall, there are a lot of things to like about this guitar. Sounds good, plays well. Remember, this is a less expensive guitar. The finish had some imperfections. Haven't played it through an amp yet, but I like the built in tuner.

This guitar was bought as an upgrade for a learner guitar. The learner guitar was smaller, so this full sized guitar took a little getting used to. Sound is solid and the guitar just feel more like a real guitar. The FGX700SC will likely serve well for a long time as practice continues and skill level increases. Price and purchase experience through Adorama was excellent.

This guitar trades punches with guitars costing $500-700 at your local guitar store. Seriously, buy it, and take it to your local Guitar Center and compare it in person to their offerings. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

This is a good guitar, especially for the price ($) deals happen several times a year). Of course it is not Martin but it sounds surprisingly good, the action is quite low and it stays in tune. If you are just starting and dont want to spend too much money or just need a guitar that you are not afraid to take to your camping trips or to keep it around toddlers then this is it. I enjoy mine

Don't know much about guitars but this sure does feel well made as other reviewers have stated. Sound is wonderful but don't have much experience to compare with others. Was definitely worth it for me as a beginner to get this piece

Started to play again after many years, also needed a guitar that would be easy on my fingers and have decent tone and not empty the bank. This fit the bill exactly. Would recommend it!

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he likes it. I know nothing about the guitar and completely rely on the review that this guitar is getting and based on the look on my husband's face, I can definitely say it's worth buying. :) Plus, I love the sounds it creates. :)

This is my first acoustic guitar purchase, but I have played on various brands from Fender to Taylor and am quite pleased with the overall quality of this guitar. If you're looking for a guitar in the ($) range, I would highly recommend this model.

I have been playing for over 30 years and have played some very nice guitars in my time. In this particular case, I was looking for an acoustic/Elec to do some weeknight duo stuff at some bars. I had a budget and For the value you get for the money I kept coming back to Yamaha. Their stuff is just solid and reliable. I was leaning towards the a-series, because of the included hardshell case, but this deal came across and I just could not justify NOT getting it. I purchased a hardshell case and feel like this will more than do the job. The unplugged acoustic tones are very nice...perfect balance of warm and bright. The electronics are a bit on the thin side, but certainly not bad. What more could you expect for a sub guitar...as least that was my deal. Sure I would love to splurge for a killer Taylor or Martin, but for what I need right now, this is perfect. And it would not be hard to sell for what I purchased it at. Even the action right out of the box was perfectly setup to my liking...really hard to believe!

Obviously doesn't have sound of a 1K-3K guitar but excellent value. Good action. Good intonation (better then some of my more expensive guitars). It is not perfect but well worth the money at least for me. I bought on discount. It is a 5 star considering It's competition in this price range.
