Amazing sound.
Incredible sound. Much better than other headphones in this price range. I compared them to the Denon HP 1100. No competition. The yamaha are much brighter and they are just better overall. Dont believe me try them for yourself.
Quite a bit better than I was expecting
I'm using these cans for comparison with my main speakers which are Dali Euphonia MS5's driven by Avantone Pro CLA-400. These HPH-MT8's are being driven by a Yamaha MG10 mixer. At first listen not yet run in with zero hours on them, the HPH-MT8 sounded very good to excellent albeit somewhat tight in terms of soundstage and dynamics.
