The HS5 Studio Monitor is a 2-way bass-reflex bi-amplified near-field studio monitor featuring a 5" cone woofer and a 1" dome tweeter. It offers a wide frequency response from 54Hz to 30kHz, powered by a 45W LF plus 25W HF bi-amp system for high-performance 70W power amplification. This monitor also includes ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM response controls, and accepts balanced or unbalanced signals through XLR and TRS phone jack inputs.
The HS Series studio monitors are designed with a philosophy that emphasizes sonic purity, delivering a concise sound image, high resolution, and flat response. The newly developed transducers in the HS Series achieve smooth response over a wide range of bandwidth, utilizing an advanced magnetic field design for seamless, natural sonic transitions.
The HS Series features a newly designed, highly efficient 1" dome tweeter for superb high-resolution sound, extending the usable frequency range up to 30kHz. The ultra-responsive woofers, designed with large, carefully selected magnets, produce low distortion sound with a well-defined bottom end at any output level.
The HS Series cabinets are designed to eliminate unwanted resonance and increase sound reproduction accuracy. Constructed from dense and resilient MDF with a damped acoustic response, these enclosures are perfectly suited for reference monitors. The traditional three-way mitered-joint technique, common to architectural design, is employed to improve durability and eliminate unwanted resonance.
The bundle also includes 2x Monitor Stand, 2x TRS 1/4" M to 1/4" M Cable, and 2x Isolation Pad, providing you with all the necessary accessories for a professional or home studio setup.
