Yamaha cd player and radio with remote/

The sound from the speakers is good. The volume can be increased to level that allows the music to be heard in another room. The remote control is easy to use. I like the look of it as it has no shiny lights to detract from its sleekness.

No WAV at high speed

Plays MP3 OK, but my WAV speed wont go slow enough. Otherwise this is a nice small unit with large sound.

Great system for the price.

My daughter is using it in her bedroom. Sound quality is great. Her only complaint is that it is hard for her to compete with her siblings who have subwoofers!

Best in it's price range

You will not find a better micro stereo system, in this price range. After trying several brands, only to be disappointed by missing features or poor design, I decided to try this Yamaha model. It has every feature I was looking for, the sound quality is excellent for it's size, and it looks and feels like it is of a higher quality than the competition. I am very pleased with my purchase, and recommend this model highly.

Replaces Bose radio/cd player

My wife was frustrated that the Bose radio/CD player's CD function had been broken for years. In looking for a replacement for the bedside player, we came across the Yamaha for a price under $200 (certainly less than we paid for the Bose)that had all the features of the Bose and more. We are very happy with the sound, the controls, and the size.
