Great Value

I am using several sets of these for distributed audio throughout our home. These speakers are winners for several reasons: 1) they are affordable 2) they are crystal clear 3) they have a low-profile bezel as compared to others in this price point (they look great) 4) the crossover components are contained in a durable plastic housing The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that they seem to lack bass. This could be attributed to the fact that I have not fully broken them in. They may open up a bit after I get some hours on them. I realize that they are operating in a virtually infinite baffle so almost any box speaker is going to produce more bass. Also, I am powering them with smaller class D amps so that may contribute to their lack of bass. I will say that what they lack in bass, they more than make up for in terms of clarity. These are ideal for ambient background music.

This is a great product without the high price tag

I purchased four(4) of these speakers to complete my 7.1 surround sound installation. Easy installation in the ceiling with the built in tabs. The magnetic cover is a bonus, no screws.

Easy Peasy

Easy to install in drop ceiling. Using these for center surronds and front presence in a 7.2 system. Built backing boxes for these from 1/4" ply shell and lined with 1/2" ridgid foam and made a noticable differance. Matched with a Yanaha RX-V673 and Klipsch for fronts, center and back surronds and 2 Yamaha 10" subs, movies sound increadible.

Performance Match

I added these speakers to complete an upgrade to 7.1 surround. They were a good match to my 11 year old 5.1 surround speakers. Upgraded a Yamaha RXV870 receiver to a RXV667. The quality of YAMAHA is outstanding.
