I play to intertain myself, and learn the posibilities of amplified guitars. my onle negative thought is the Master tone control does not seem to make any differance

I am 61 years old. Took guitar lessons when I was 11. Broke my left wrist. After that, the pain while playing was terrible, quit the guitar. Recently discovered, no more wrist pain. January 2019, bought a Yamaha FS800 acoustic. Late March 2019, bought a this Pacifica. Researched probably every electric guitar at this price point. You can't beat it in overall quality. If you need the big ego boost with the big F brand, go right ahead, but this is a better instrument, no doubts.

I've been playing my Pacifica 012 for 7 years now and there is no other guitar that plays like it. It's versatility is incredible- everything from blues to funk to hard rock and even metal can be played beautifully with the stock pickups. Definitely the best beginner guitar out there for the genre-happy player.

This exceeded our expectations. The quality of the guitar is great. The metallic blue is understated but not cheesy. The guitar is a bit undersized and a perfect size for my 9 year old boy. He has no problems getting his fingers over the entire fretboard. I would certainly recommend this to a first timer. By the way, we bought it with the Fender Champion 20 amp and they work great together.

I have a 90's Pacifica and it is my pride and joy. I spotted this model in the store hoping it would be like my other one, actually it sounds better than the 90's model. Great bell like chimes and screaming PAF like bridge pick up. I want another one :)

I bought this guitar not too long ago as a replacement for a guitar I hated. The yamaha pac012 feels very comfortable and is easy to play. The sound is amazing compared to the other guitar I was using. I am just starting to learn and I was told by many that this would be a great guitar to start with and I wouldn't need to upgrade before a long time.

I think pac012 is better than others (wich the price is more high). Sometimes many artists are buying guitars for the lengendary brand, but they replace parts like pickups, for example. This guitar pac012 offers many sounds and good construction. Yes, the true, it isn'nt the most pretty in the worl. His sound is different, but very pretty in clean mode and overdrives styles. Maybe i'll buy another pacifica... a 112, or will replace his pickups, but is only for an experiment of sound. Others that I've played can give a sound that i don't want. Is soft for my fingers. I like the bue... it's one of my favorites guitars.

Thin neck, double cutaway design and light weight makes this a very comfortable guitar to play. Awesome value for the money paid. A couple of rough edges on the neck, but otherwise a great buy.
