Disappointed

I'm kind of frustrated with this keyboard to be honest. I wanted it because it was a Yamaha so I assumed it would be good quality. However, I have only had this thing for a year and a half and it's already unusable. There are keys that stopped playing sound, it's glitchy.. for example, there are keys that will either not play, or it will play with uncontrollable volume, loud then quiet, then no sound at all, then 15 keys down another one will do that, which makes me think it isn't the keys. But I don't know. These things aren't cheap and no I'm pianoless, and that's not good.

Easy fix for noisy keys-plumbers putty!

I added external speakers with sub woofer to improve sound and placed plumbers putty under the white keys to stop clicking and to add weight.

Played once fine. No sound, can't reset

I was looking forward to playing again and live where a traditional piano is not an option. I played once aloud, played with headphones with success. The headphone adapter jack remained in the output while keyboard was on. I removed it after realizing it was there. Turned it off, disconnected from the power, turned ot back on and NO sound. The screen says: < update>...but i found no way to reset the keyboard.

Excellent beginner keyboard

I have EW300 and I love it. People must realize that it is a keyboard for beginners because it's a 76 key. The volume does have a little problem but it depends on where you're using it. I bought mine Sam's Club and it's a good deal. The only thing I would do with my next keyboard it's to get weighted Keys cuz these are not weighted keys. So if you go and play another instrument or another keyboard it takes the little time to get used to it. It's going on three years and it's about time that I get another one but I must tell you. you're not going to get a concert quality sound out of the 300.

Low volumef

Bought this from Guitar Center for use with a disabled adult choir. Unfortunately, the sound level is very low so with 18 people singing, they can't hear the keyboard. When the volume is at 1/2 level, there is no sound at all! Seems like that's an inborn fault. The volume level at zero should gradually increase not be silent until 1/2 way. The sustain pedal in the survival kit, stopped working after 1 time and Guitar Center said they wouldn't replace it because the kit is not under warranty.

I like The YPG-235 Over the PSR-EW300

I had order a PSR-EW400 but Guitar Center sent me a PSR-EW300 so I play it for one day and took it back to my Guitar Center. Yes it have more bell add on this Keyboard board would be a Top Seller if they had leave the Pitch Ben Wheel on I am a senior and on a budget I can't afford internet so I can't used the pitch bend that is in the app I gave my old ypg-235 to my cousin thinking that I was getting psr-ew400 that guitar center do not sell anymore I was hurt so I brought another ypg-235 that how much I LOVE this keyboard. I gave it 3 star because of the pitch bend wheel.

Good deal

This portable keyboard is an excellent beginner keyboard or for those who haven't played piano for many years but once the start out doing it again. It's compact it has 76 keys so there's some adjustments having to be made because it's not a full 88 keyboard. There's a lot you can do with it the more you use it the easier it gets. The lesson are really informative though you have to really concentrate to get the full effect of it. It is economical and it has enough bells and whistles where you can get full enjoyment. The only thing I would suggest is that you purchased separately a sustainer and then you'd have almost a full musical instrument.
