I had a Samsung 5-disc 5.1 system (14 years old) which died over a year ago. So I had nothing to play my cd's with in the house. A friend of mine had a pair of Kenwood KL-999X speakers(mint) in his garage and of no use to him anymore. Well he gave me the speakers and told me I would need a decent receiver to power them. Well each speaker has a impedance of 8 OHms and peak at 300 watts each. Did my research and ended up with Yamaha receiver. Sound quality is excellent. Just to let you know guy...

Looking for something with power that could meet my audio listening needs. Those needs would be to play vinyl, play cd's and play my devices through Bluetooth connections.
