Very customizable and user friendly
I upgraded a 10-year-old Sony DTR-DN1010 recently plagued by "Protect" errors. I had a hard time finding something reasonably priced that offered the same 7.1 channels. Atmos was a bonus; this Yamaha offers significantly more expand-ability and features for the money!! Great Receiver for home surround sound & MusicCast Hub
Very satisfying receiver. I used this receiver to replace a soundbar that I was unhappy with. If you are not limited on space it's worth going with a receiver to drive your home audio/home theater. I have this system set up as a 5.1.2 home theater. Works great with my Boston Acoustic Micro system, powered BA sub, two rear Yamaha MusicCast 20's. TV app's and integration is great.
