Great soundbar even without the external subwoofer. We like the ease of use . We currently have it connected to our TVs Bluetooth. Now it gives us rich sound and deep enough bass without sounding like a lowered Honda.

I'll start with what I do like, the voice clarity is great I can finally understand the dialogue of what's going on. The sound quality in general is just ok. What disappoints me is just in general how weak it is. I have to crank the volume way past half before I even begin to hear anything, what's the point then? Just have the volume start at 50. Cranking it all the way to 100 is almost normal listening volume. I don't know what I expected at this price point but I didn't think it would be this weak sauce.

When you first open the box everything is right there that you need. Everything is put in protected and secured so that no damage is done even the pamphlets. This item comes with a warranty and shows you step by step on how to register. Easy to set up! Once setting up it sounds amazing!

Bought it to help with dialogue clarity. It doesn't play well with the other components. Thought it would be good to have Alexa included. It keeps turning itself off. I primarily use it to stream Amazon Music.

The sound of this unit is wonderful. I gave it four stars because the connection instruction were very confusing and unclear. Yamaha should write their instructions for an 8th grader. However, I have no problem with Dell's service. I did have a huge problem with the delivery. The day the package arrived it was lightly raining and the carton got wet. There was an area near the front door that was dry but this was not used. Fortunately, only the bottom of the carton got soaked and the sound bar was not damaged.

The sound on this is great! I haven?t had any issues with adjusting volume?but we have not been able to use it seemlessly. We use our fire stick for almost everything on our TV and our sound bar is connect directly to it, but the soundbar does not turn on every time we turn on the firestick. It?s very annoying to problem solve getting them both on at the same time. Still working on this.

The sound that my television achieves thanks to this bar has improved considerably. You get powerful bass along with a clear voice and very clean sound. In addition, the possibility of using it as a bluetooth speaker, or as a stereo sending songs from your mobile, spotify or amazon prime music, gives it added value. Alexa use it to request songs recognizes any voice.

First impressions based off the packaging were that it was going to be cheap and very basic. Boy was I wrong! This soundbar is very slim and looks sleek under my TV and powerful sound that makes me feel like I'm in the scene of the movie. I personally would love to experience this soundbar with a wireless subwoofer as I think that's the only thing lacking from this device. The soundbar offers a variety of ports to connect to external devices and I was able to set up and use the soundbar in minutes after opening the box. Very easy setup!

I received this soundbar for free for my honest opinion. This sound bar really sounds amazing. Giving it 5 stars would mean it doesn't need improvement and there are some issues I had with it. Setting up the sound bar with Alexa was a bit of a nightmare I ultimately had to delete Alexa and the sound bar off my phone and reset the sound bar to manufacture default. Then start over multiple times until it finally was recognized by the Yamaha app. There are some other small issues I had. While using arc this sometimes does not detect any sound at all and I have to turn the tv off and on which could be the tvs fault. The lights on the top are very small and dim so to tell if clear voice or 3d surround are on is a little difficult. Other than those small issues though this sound bar is really incredible. The sound is full and accurate. Clear voice is just amazing I don't have to use subtitles as much when my kids are sleeping the bass sounds good for a sound bar but I highly recommend attaching a sub which is easy to do since this sound bar has a sub out port. Overall I am very pleased with this sound bar and it's not even comparable to the Samsung sound bar I had before it is just light years ahead of it in its quality and sound.

Love the sound, and full bass. Great to watch movies and listen to music. Annoying that it only supports Alexa though, since I have a Google household. I also was unable to get the sound bar to connect to the app to get Alexa working either. So no smart feature for me.

This sound bar is phenomenal! We put it in our living room under our TV and have absolutely loved having it. When playing video games it feels like you're in the game, movies feel like I'm at a theater, and I absolutely LOVE playing music. It's amazing what a good speaker can do. You can easily control the speaker with the app, or with Alexa. I've loved being able to control the speaker with Alexa and have used that feature the most. This speaker is hands down the best speaker I've had. I've gotten many comments about it whether I have friends over to watch the game, or simply watching a show. I highly recommend this speaker for anyone looking.

The sound bar sounds amazing. I've been looking to enhance my TV sound for a while, trying different products. The YAS-109 exceeded my expectations for sound clarity and loudness. The sound is clear and it has a Surround feature if you want to get a theater like experience, all that in a slick and modern design. Plus it has built in Alexa which we use on daily basis.
