this YDS-12 works flawlessly with older receivers that take the yds-10 and has geeat sound transfer from ipod to older yamaha receiver. very glad to have such a tool to have all my music attached to reciever and full control on screen and with reciever remote. currently running RX-V2700.

I use my iPhone 4 in this dock to listen to al my music , from Etta James to Chris Brown it sounds great . I got it connected to a Yamaha rx-1000 and it's sounds great!!!

I hooked up the YDS-12 to my RX-V2065 and could play songs on my iPhone-S in normal mode. Didn't have to turn phone to "AirPlane Mode" - this was great!

This device interfaces perfectly with my iPod Classic latest generation and my Yamaha RX A 800 receiver. Direct connect without any programming results in total onscreen (TV) control of the iPod. I don't use video on my iPod so can't comment on that but the audio reproduction is great and a HUGE improvement over just connecting the iPod to an audio input. I thought this was pricey for what appears to be just another cable, but am really glad I bought it.

Great product. Prompt delivery and the best price I found for this product. The product works well with our Yamaha receiver shows your song list on the tv screen. It is user friendly very easy to use!!
