No Sound After 6 Months of Use

Worked great for 6 months, now we have no sound. To have it repaired we will either need to ship it and this thing weights a lot - shipping for repairs will be expensive, or take it to a service shop which is a long way away - expensive and time consuming. The service people were great, very helpful as far as that goes, it's just simply that this is just yet another shoddily manufactured piece of junk.
