Solid peice of equipment. Smooth movement. Excellent price. As a hobbyist photographer, I'm always looking for a value product. I mean, the lenses and body set you back plenty. I've only used it a few times. Moved it off my tripod and onto a monopod easily.

The gimbal was good for about a year. Then the vertical alignment become loose and there is no way to tighten that screw. It's simple because they sealed the screw resulting no access to the screw head. This is poor design and this simple flaw make this gimbal unusable once the screw become loose. I've two other gimbal heads from Benro and Induro, both can be tighten with a allen range.

If you're on a tight budget and can't spring for one of the Italian or American made name brands, this will do the job. The Yelangu looks and feels nice and solid, yet light. Unloaded, it feels like the movements are very smooth. With a fairly heavy load (Z9 + FTZ + 600mm f/4E), it isn't quite as smooth as my old used Wimberley WH-200, but it handles just fine. Long-term durability? Who knows? Not sure if I'd mount $15,000 worth of gear on this and hike through rough country with it hanging over my shoulder, but for stationary setups the Yelangu gimbal is great, and a real bargain.

It looked great and worked perfectly. I used it for a light parade where I needed more stability, and then started using it with a much heavier lens. It has held up well in rain and the outdoors.

This gimbal was a fourth the price of the one my brother bought. On my first day using it during a walk in our local park, I got pictures that were as good as anything he got. It is as smooth and easy to use as gimbals much more costly. Light, well-made and affordable.

Well built and strong gimbal weighs in at near two pounds. This thing is great for attaching an airgun and doing some serious pesting. Buttery smooth operation means any misses are on you. Supports the weight of my SK-19 just fine.

Seems to work OK but the vertical and horizontal movement is still not as smooth as expected but I am hoping it will get better after more use. Certainly is great value for the price.
