Great music, but uncomfortable over ears

The product is great and was delivered as promised. The quality is great and the music sounds great! The only thing I hate about PRO 300 is the comfort - It is very uncomfortable because it is too tight and causes a lot of pressure around the ears which is very painful. Though the music sounds great, I might return this product if the pain persists. Second thing is the bass - I like high bass and had a chance to try my friend's Bose OE2 headphones; I hoped these would also have the same amount of bass, but it failed to meet my expectation. I can live with this but not the pain. Yamaha - Request you to seriously consider changing the design to reduce the pain . Thank you!

Great travelling companion

I received the headphones just in time for a two week business trip, so I was able to take them along. Yamaha did a fantastic job with the packaging design and product styling. I think they outdo Beats and Bose on style points alone. Opening the box was a treat in itself, and to me that speaks a lot for the care put into the product itself. I really like the design of the headphones themselves. They fold down nicely and fit snugly into the well-designed pouch which, in turn, fit nicely into my carry-on. They fit well on my head, and into my iPhone with Speck case - I have found this to be trouble with other attachments. The sound quality is exceptional, though I have not had experience with other high end headphones, and leak virtually no sound to bystanders (a huge plus). I really enjoyed the iPhone functionality, the volume, pause, and skip controls work well with the Pandora app, my music app of choice. As I was traveling internationally, I ended up using the headphones for Skype on my laptop as the microphone failed, and the integrated microphone was a welcome surprise. I really liked that the phones included a quality adapter for use with the larger jack systems. The only criticisms I have with the headphones are that they do not interface well with Delta airplane jacks (though this seems to be a Delta issue as BritishAirways movie watching was fantastic) and the lack of a noise cancelling feature, although this may not be in line with the intent of the product.
