My keyboard is just a couple years old, and receives very light use by my 11 year old for piano classes. She's the only one who plays it. A section of the keys around low D/E/F have all ceased working. Online posts in keyboard forums suggest I'm far from the first person this has happened to. There are YouTube videos and forum posts about taking it apart and cleaning the contacts, which I've done, no help. Local service center charges half the cost of a new one to service it, whether it works out or not. A good chunk of forum posts suggest a hard smack on the bottom of the keyboard may help, and given it's now useless, I tried that, but no change. Guess I'll toss it in the landfill and replace, but it won't be with Yamaha.

This is my 1st keyboard although I have pounded on a couple others but never seriously. Basically, I know 3 finger chords. I love this thing. Can't stop playing it. Great tone and feel. It is perfect for learning to play. I did buy a sustain pedal.

Versatile functions, I truly like to change the sound of piano and use the metronome while practicing. Now I use every other day and on a good track of improving skills. I love the trial of Flowkeys as well. This is now my only used app for learning. #sweepstakes

Sorry for a long one, but in one sentence: "beyond expectations of a person who either started, or playes a bit"... Long version: I have always had a dream of having a "keyboard", since I was a kid, but unfortunately there were few obstacles: - my parents couldn't afford anything "sensful" (it is later explained what I meant by this) - there was much more pressure put on my education, and "real" things, then what I really wanted - I haven't had a music education ever - it might seams to be weird, but... I was pretty sensitive, or rather "touchy" on how things sounds, how they look like, I liked movies, but I pretty hated VHS due to ugly sound, and picture, and it was the same with generated instruments those days, like an "electronic piano" "sound", and later with PC sound cards (this typical ones of course) of how they generated midi instruments, and for me - it was like - I would rather not listen to it if it is so "bad" (despite how I love music, and I have danced ballroom for 15 years); I possibly cannot describe it well, but maybe that I'm autistic explains it better ;) So now in my 50s, and for last two years (really) I was wondering what I could buy to check it out - if I still wanted it so badly, or it was a kid dream; I thought about PSR-E373, so I checked some presentations, read some information about it, some comparison with competitors and their product, but still thought, that the size of the keyboard is not exactly what I would try; on the other hand electronic piano was something like "no enough"; yeah, I know, no experience, never actually played, and such expectations ! true, but simply wanted to try in one instrument to try what I can. And by accident I found EW310 - it was in one article - that they only differed in size ! so it would be perfect ! And it was actually far BETTER ! Very reach, live like sounds (grand piano is so beautiful), touching sensitivity is gr8 - especially for learning ! and the size, almost like piano :)

Knowing nothing about playing the piano, I looked to recommendations from YouTube piano teachers about choosing a piano keyboard. The Yamaha keyboards were always highly recommended. I am not disappointed with the purchase of this keyboard.

#sweepstakes??.I played the organ years ago and wanted to get back into playing. I bought my wife a Roland which was nice, but not nearly as nice as the Yamaha keyboard. I sold the Roland and bought the Yamaha. It feels solid and has great sound. Love the price point too. A great instrument to have fun with.

5 years ago, I bought the EW300, witch I still have. This new version is really a good improvement. So I bought one for me, one for my wife and one for my granddaughter. All 3 are very good instrument and hopefully we will have a lot of fun learning with its help. At that price, it was a must buy asap.

I like the EW310 -- it's a very versatile keyboard that didn't cost me an "arm and a leg", It's an upgrade from the PSR275 that I lost in a fire, and I'm happy to have 2 of them on my keyboard rack. (Though I still miss my old DGX5).

We purchased the piano from Sam's Club, in store. It was around $200 and was purchased for my then 8 year old daughter who loves music. She has not taken any formal lessons, but plays on it most days. She has learned some piano through apps like Flowkey which we had for free for a few months. It is exactly perfect for her. It has many settings to play different sounds. The display screen shows what keys are used for the songs that are in the library. This has helped my daughter learn new songs. She is also able to record herself playing songs that she makes up or learns. We have had it for almost 2 years and is still going strong.
