Gives the reach without breaking the bank

I find great peace wandering around the zoo observing the various animals. My 70-200 f2.8 L USM II has always served me well, but I've always wished for a bit more reach with my lense without breaking the bank for a larger telephoto of good quality, similar to the canon. Thankfully it is one of the supported lenses for the extender. Paired with my Canon R5, when I got to Big Cat Falls and saw the male was up and moving around. No cropping was necessary other than adjust to 8x10, because I preferred the formatting for the shot. Without the extender I would have needed to crop in for a similar shot. It definitely adds a bit more weight, free handing it waiting for the perfect moment can get a little challenging. As long as you know telephoto is where you plan on spending most of the time shooting, it was excellent.

About Yongnuo Teleconvertor

This teleconverter from Yongnuo extends a lens's focal length by a factor of 1.4, incorporating great optical performance with little or no chromatic abberation. A built-in microcomputer allows for seamless communication between the camera body and lens, which means you'll still get EXIF data and the lens can still cooperate with camera exposure modes. This unit is a great addition to any Yongnuo telephoto lenses, and may work with other brands depending on mount compatibility.
