Okay for rgb background , use the non-rgb air model for a main light instead.

I feel like Yongnuo could have skipped the white leds on this panel and made it a better rgb source. I like it, but it’s not easy to use the rgb colors as they all share one dial, and the bicolor white leds aren’t as good as the 600 air model that has no rgb. The white leds on the new version are a little more green in color. Pros: decent color reproduction out of rgb leds. Nice size panel with a smooth light distribution - no hot spots. Includes remote Could be used as a main light in a pinch. Cons; definitely too large and heavy for on-camera (you knew that, but it’s in the name) White leds are green tinted One dial controls rgb leds (click and dial up red, click for green ,click for blue, hopefully mix them) Bluetooth works great, but phone app for easy operation is only in Chinese!

Very Good. Not as bright as expected

This was first LED purchase, so expectations may have been too high on brightness level. Still, the light works like a charm and is lightweight to handle. I really like the remote that came with it that allows controlling all aspects of light output from a distance. The handle has a hollow base so light can mount onto the shaft of an existing light stand. Remove the handle and the screw mount can be used to attach the light to a typical camera tripod or other similar screw mount. The light output is very even, avoiding hot spots, which is important for the industrial products I shoot that include a lot of reflective, stainless steel surfaces.
