Item works as expected. Great inexpensive way to remotely fire speedlights. The transmitters themselves aren't as streamlined shaped as I would have though, they're much chunkier. Not too obtrusive but not the most ideal to pack away and forget.

I was under the impression that a RF 603 for Canon would also work as a basic trigger for a Sony a3000 on a YN 685 (according to some reviews). Apparently not, as all that happened was very erratic behavior from the 685. Manual did not help. Three stars for this, because I am still not sure what was going on.(Not sure if 603 was defective.) BTW, my YN622 works great with the 685 on the Canon. So still looking for a trigger for the Sony and another speedlite. And YN manuals suck.

I purchased this to use with the current transmitter I already had to run a monolight. This works great. I was also able to use the included cable to attache from the YN560-TX to the camera (for a Canon camera) and use the second trigger as a remote to run the camera. These can also be used to trigger the TN560 IV from the camera.

Just what I need to use my Yongnuo flash off camera with my Canon 6D.

With a host of features and pro-level capabilities, this wireless trigger from Yongnuo lives up to the brand's reputation for quality gear and components to suit your photo flash needs. This particular set of flash triggers can operate wirelessly or with a PC sync cord for improved connectivity. This unit adopts a global FSK 2.4GHz wireless channel that can work anywhere and in suitable environments can reach up to 100 meters. It can be set to a single transmission state, which is more convenient for testing the flash and it can also be set to transceiver state. You can also automatically switch between the two. Transmitter supports single contact triggering, as well as wireless triggering, via the camera hot shoe. It's also PC-sync ready and can be connected to a network of flashes and shutter triggers for studio use. The highest flash sync speed this light is capable of is 1/320th of a second; different camera models may only be capable of 1/250th.
