Pros: -Price -Size/weight -Syncs at high speeds with leaf shutters on X mode -Units can be used interchangeably as transmitters or receivers Cons: -Only works with a hotshoe -Groups function doesn't seem to work (research indicates I'm not the only that has this problem) I use these primarily with my Yongnuo YN560 speedlites (and one YN560 IV), and film cameras (35mm, 120, 4x5), but will occasionally switch the transmitter over to my 5DII for quick test shots. I like how they let me move around freely without having to worry about cables and are easy to switch from camera to camera. The specs say they only sync at speeds up to 1/200, but I've tested them with several leaf shutter lenses at speeds up to 1/500 and found they sync reliably. My main complaint about them and thing I wish would've been clearer at the time of purchase is that the PC sync port they have is output only, the only way to get them to fire is if they are triggered via a hotshoe. I use a PC to hotshoe adapter to get around that requirement, which works fine, but I wish I wouldn't have to spend the extra money for the adapter. I would recommend this item if you're looking to spend very little money on a flash trigger, but there is room for improvement on Yongnuo's part with these.

I am a physician attempting to create a good setup in my office for medical photography. Admittedly I know nothing about photography! I'm trying to learn the basics and purchased these based on reviews and advice from another professional in my field. Thus far I have no complaints in terms of the function of the lights. I will say that the instruction booklet provides little help if you are a beginner like me.

These triggers are reliable and have pretty good range. I put one on my camera (Nikon) and one on each of three off-camera flashes then used a 5th trigger to remotely fire the system and they all fired perfectly.

Easy to set up. Works on Fuji xpro1 and xt1 as well as canon 60d.
